Salzburg, birthplace of Mozart lies among the snow-covered Alps, hills and the lake of Salzkammergut. There Hohensalzburg palace stands quietly over the small town. The coaches, starting from the Dome, can take the tourist everywhere in the old town. In St. Wolfgang, take a seat in the famous 'White Horse Inn'. The beautiful main square of Mondsee is not far either, nor is Bad Ischl, the former imperial spa resort, where one can still hear Lehár's music.
